Anna was born in Moscow, Russia and immigrated to New York at age 7.

She studied photojournalism at Syracuse University and later worked as a digital technician in the fashion photography industry.

Anna has melded all of her professional and personal experiences to develop her unique style of portraits, to give her subjects the best experience.

Anna lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
